This notice explains what personal information ILF Ltd collects through this website and when you contact us, why we use it, and your rights.
Who we are
ILF Ltd is responsible for your personal information (the “controller”). We are registered in England and Wales, company number 04956263. Our registered office is Unit 1 Upper Keys Business Park, Hednesford, Cannock, England, WS12 2GE. You can contact us about this notice at sales@ilfproducts.co.uk or on 01543 226816.
What we collect
- When you ask for a quote or use our contact form: your name, company name, phone number, email address, your message and any drawings or documents you upload.
- When you email or phone us: your contact details and the information you give us.
- When you apply for a job: your CV and anything else you send with it.
- When you place an order: the details we need to supply, deliver and invoice it.
- When you visit the website: technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, which our website host records in server logs. If you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics also records how you use the site (see our cookie policy).
Please don’t send us sensitive information, such as health details, unless we ask for it.

Who we share it with
- Turtle Media and Marketing Ltd, which hosts and maintains our website.
- Microsoft, which provides our email (Microsoft 365). Emails and form messages you send us are stored there.
- Google, which provides the map in our website footer and, if you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics. Google receives your IP address when either of these loads.
- Delivery companies and subcontractors, where we need them to fulfil your order.
- Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, and public authorities where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal information.
Transfers outside the UK
Microsoft and Google may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the ICO’s international data transfer agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as the law requires, and otherwise only while we need it:
- Customer, order and invoice records: 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as HMRC requires. This also covers the 6 years in which a contract claim can be made.
- Enquiries that don’t lead to an order: no law sets a period, so we keep them only while they are useful, and for no more than 2 years after our last contact.
- Job applications: 6 months after we make a decision, so that we can respond to any claim about the recruitment process, unless you agree that we can keep your details for future vacancies.
- Website statistics (Google Analytics): 14 months, after which Google deletes them automatically.
- Server logs: for the period set by Turtle Media and Marketing Ltd, our website host.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to limit how we use your information
- object to how we use your information where we rely on our legitimate interests
- ask us to send information you gave us to another organisation
- withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent, for example for cookies

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping your information safe
We take appropriate technical and organisational steps to protect your information. This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
Other websites
Our website links to other sites, including our pages on X, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
